Ultimate Staffing is hiring for mechanical technician to work a 100% onsite at our customer's site located in San Jose CA.

Shift 1: Monday-Friday, 6:00 A.M.-2:30 P.M.

Shift 2: Monday to Friday 3Pm to 11.30PM

6 -8 Month Assignment (Might be a possibility of extending and conversion )

Summary:

Read and follow assembly instructions and general workmanship documents and specifications.

1. Work with planning and production and execute the required assembly to meet the needed weekly requirements.
2. Record keeping of results with classification of failures (excel based activity).

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and general workmanship documents and specification.
• Possess English language reading and writing ability.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Previous experience in electronic Assembly builds and production environment
• 5+ years of hands-on experience assembling RF systems with >1kW at 350kHz to 200MHz
• Good knowledge about manufacturing methods and processes to build RF Matching Network and other RF sub-assemblies
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Creative and analytical skills
• High integrity and discretion

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Nearly always work indoors.
• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
